JTC KITE DAY & ROKKAKU CHALLANGE
Tuas West Drive, next to Raffles Marina Country Club
Time : 10 AM - 3 PM

This first-time event is being sponsored and promoted by Jurong Town
Corporation (JTC), Singapore's largest industrial space owner. SKA is
helping with the organization, demonstrations and a workshop. The main
event will be a rokkaku challenge between tenant factories in Jurong. Some
20 identical kites are being prepared for this. Demonstration kites include
dragons/centipedes, stunters and fighters, the latter by courtesy of Kite
Fighting Enthusiasts Club, Singapore. The event is open to the public but
bring your own sun/rain shelter and food. Free roadside parking.
